Also, Mr. Hauser has offered up a recommended packing list from previous Summer Camp events ( Word | PDF ) for individuals and for the needed Troop Gear ( Word | PDF ). Take a look to double-check you have what you need for a great trip!

Also note! "Everything that goes to Camp, Doesn't always come home from Camp." So parents, you may want to re-think sending the family's $200 dollar digital camera to camp and replace it with a $5 single use camera.

Adult Leader Training

One final note for Adults. Please update your Youth Protection Training before camp. You should do this even if you are not a registered leader. Go to the Greater Alabama Council web site, and click "Leader Training". Then click "Youth Protection Training". Follow the instructions. I have had problems in the past with getting documentation from the council. So if you come to a page that says you completed the course, print it out as proof. (You may also want to update your Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat training).
