Welcome to the Troop 350 Annual Ski Trip WebpageCheck out the Ski Trip flyerLatest news: Thank you for thinking Snow, it's starting to pile up for our Yankee brothers. Perfect North Slope is starting to make snow and you can check out their progress by viewing the Camera mounted on a chair lift poles. I'm also attaching a Flyer that is still a work in progress. I'm trying to get us the best possible price on lodging. There is no denying that the Ski Trip is one of the more expensive outings that the troop participates in, but it's also packed full of Family Fun. If you've been a Thrifty scout and sold Popcorn, you can use your Popcorn Earnings to help pay for the trip. If you've never skied before, don't worry. A Free Beginner's Lesson is part of the deal and you'll quickly pick up enough skills to have a great time on the slopes. I'll also be offering the Snow Sports Merit Badge for those scouts that are interested. It is possible to get the SS MB in one outing, but you'll have to practice your turns and Hockey Stops to earn it. Moms, Dads and Siblings, you're definitely invited on this outing. In fact we'll need extra Moms & Dads to help drive us to Cincinnati (6 -1/2 hour drive). If you're not interested in skiing, many parents have found it very enjoyable and relaxing to spend the day drinking hot cocoa and watching all the action through the lodges large picture windows or watching football on the lodge's Big Screen. January will sneak up on us Quick, so you need to start thinking about going skiing with us. We'll likely start a sign-up sheet next week and start collecting money right after the holidays.
